Straight from Antwerp, all the way to Berlin:

Antwerp eyewear brand Theo represents individuality and avant-garde design.

In fact, it was founded in 1989 by Wim Somers and Patrick Hoet, two opticians who just didn’t want to sell any more mainstream glasses.
Theo’s collection of glasses and sunglasses merges avant-garde design with the highest quality of workmanship. Since the late 1980s, Theo has astonished the eyewear industry with its breathtaking repertoire of shapes and styles, and won several design prizes. Theo doesn’t just create fine frames from the classically used acetate, but also crafts eyewear from aluminum that is second to none.
Unconventional shapes and distinctive colors mean that Theo’s designs function as eye-catching accessories — without logos or flashy gimmicks. Think architecture for the face.
You can find a varied assortment from current Theo collections in our Berlin boutiques, as well as original vintage designs from the brand’s archive. On request, we can also order specific glasses or sunglasses for you that can be tried on in one of our locations. For those who don’t live in Berlin, please check our online store, where we have a carefully curated assortment of avant-garde glasses and sunglasses for your consideration.

Intensive Workshop for Healthy and Relaxed Vision

These days, we spend so much time looking at screens – and that’s become even more the case during the pandemic. And all that screen time really stresses our eyes. Long hours spent focusing with few breaks to give our vision a bit of variation leads to fatigue, and also indirectly to neck tension.

Participation is limited to twelve persons, and will be conducted according to 2G guidelines. The rooms in Prenzlauer Berg are fitted with a virus filter. Resources will be available on-site. Comfortable clothing is suggested.

Fee: 98€
Dates:

27.11.2021 from 11am to 1pm
11.12.2021 from 10am to 12pm
15.01.2022 from 3pm to 5pm

In a specially designed seminar with body therapist Anna Schmutte, we’ll discover a path to more relaxed vision. Not only will cultural, physiological, and psychological aspects of vision be considered, the seminar also features practical exercises based on recognized relaxation techniques such as Grinberg.

Mindfulness-based stress reduction has been demonstrated (footnote 1) to reduce pressure on the eyes and contribute to long-term eye health.

The workshop includes practical exercises that can be easily integrated into your daily routine at home, as well as an exclusive audio recording for later use.

Attendance: max. 12 people following 2G guidelines. The rooms in Prenzlauer Berg are fitted with a virus filter. Resources will be available on-site. Comfortable clothing is suggested. Please register in advance.
