The never-been-worn original vintage glasses and vintage sunglasses have been carefully hand-selected for you from limited opticians’ stock and from well-known manufacturers around the world.

In 2011, Lunettes Selection founder and owner Uta Geyer launched her debut glasses and sunglasses brand under the name “Lunettes Kollektion.” Designed in Berlin and hand-finished in Italy, the collection of optical frames and sunglasses includes more than 30 models in various sizes and colors, and is sold in our boutiques in Berlin Mitte, Charlottenburg, and Berlin Prenzlauer Berg, as well as in exclusive optical shops and opticians worldwide.

Instead of fast computer eye tests, at Lunettes Selection Berlin, we use manual refraction glasses that allow our opticians to show you what your vision will be when using a computer, or at night.
This relaxed and precise process takes your feedback into account, creating a personal interaction between you and our optician that ensures an absolutely accurate measurement. As a result, your physical and mental condition at the time of your test is very important.
Please come us relaxed and healthy, and not wearing contact lenses. You don’t need an appointment; just make sure to arrive no later than one hour before closing time.

In our Berlin boutique, our opticians gauge the proper prescription for your vision using a rarely-seen traditional method called subjective refraction. In contrast to the quick checks that have become standard in today’s optical world, particularly in trendy start-ups, subjective refraction is a more intensive and individualized way to evaluate your eyesight.
After taking a comprehensive optical history, our master opticians determine your prescription step by step, holding lenses of different strengths in front of your eye while you determine how they improve or impair what you see.
