This season, Lunettes Kollektion turns its eye inward to draw inspiration from something close to home and close to our hearts — Torstrasse. This unlovely Berlin boulevard full of gray angular architecture and start-up optimism is where we were born, and where we will stay. Our new frames borrow freely from the hard geometries of the buildings, and the vivid graffiti that shocks the street corners with color. Feel the pulse of the city, see it race — through a new lens.
Elements of Style
Lunettes Kollektion bristles with new creative energy while staying grounded in history, just like the city it calls home. Pulling from Lunettes Selection’s archive of iconic vintage eyewear, the experienced Lunettes Kollektion designers blend fashion-forward impulses with classic inspirations from the annals of style and cinema. Collaborations with Christopher Shannon, Michael van der Ham, ODEEH, Julian Zigerli, and John Lawrence Sullivan have premiered at global Fashion Weeks, illustrating the brand’s deep connection with the best in design.
Material Matters
With an accent on aesthetic detail, all of the glasses in Lunettes Kollektion are carefully produced using traditional methods. Our frames start with the highest quality Cellulose Acetate, a hypoallergenic and renewable natural material that is the specialty of heritage firm Mazzucchelli. Based on wood and cotton fibers, Cellulose Acetate provides Lunettes frames with a rich range of colors, an easy-to-wear lightness, and a reliable flexibility. All frames are produced in Italy by artisanal methods.
Our New Collection: Concrete Dreams
Berlin has seen and endured tides of change; buildings have risen and fallen in waves of history. In the resulting blend, modernism meets mannered. Generations of families run the cafes and shops that rub elbows with the new galleries, chic hotels and coffee roasters that populate the poured cement pre-fab corners.
The Concrete Dreams collection creates eyewear for this sidewalk catwalk. Design cornerstones are solid and angular, but recognize a softer side, like a secret smile from a passer-by. The black and grey and slightly dingy tones here are embraced and matched with vibrant shades lifted from corner shops laden with fresh fruit or from splotches of graffiti. There is joy in this imperfect beauty as we update iconic styles with fresh shape revisions, and introduce new shades.

Lunettes Kollektion was born in Berlin, and has its roots in the city’s sought-after Lunettes Selection shops, but is always making connections. Our eyewear can be found at the world’s best addresses, from New York’s Soho to Tokyo’s Shibuya to Barcelona’s El Passeig de Gràcia.
Meet the Models
Each model is created and named to salute our guiding inspiration and concept. Classic shapes are filtered through a fresh contemporary lens. »Orthogon« has a streetwear-inspired unisex angularity, while »Fjarill« radiates a feminine strength. The etched bridge on »Ovide« adds a retro touch to a modern classic. Colors include both urban greys and brilliant flashes: choose from Clear Night, Rosewood, Seagrass, Tortoise, Smoky Black, Incense, and Grey.

Wings gently brush your cheekbones as they take flight across the busy city street. We call this lovely frame Fjarill, because that’s the Swedish word for butterfly.
